Welcome to Budgetrider ("Website", "We", "Us", "Our"). By accessing, browsing, or using our services, you ("Customer", "User", "You") agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all interactions conducted through our platform, including those made via our website, telephone, or email.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using or engaging with our services.

1. Nature of Our Business

1. 1.1 Budgetrider functions as an independent provider of car rental deals and is not a direct car rental company.
2. 1.2 We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any particular car rental brand, supplier, or dealership.
3. 1.3 All fares, promotions, and offers displayed or communicated through our platform are published and introduced by us in collaboration with authorized rental dealers throughout the United States.
4. 1.4 Our role is solely to connect customers with verified car rental suppliers based on availability and customer requirements.

2. Booking Authorization and Consent

1. 2.1 All reservations are processed only after the customer provides explicit written approval via email.
2. 2.2 The consent email issued by Budgetrider includes important details such as vehicle category, rental cost, pickup and drop-off information, and cancellation policies.
3. 2.3 Once a customer provides written confirmation (such as replying “I Agree”, “Confirm”, or a similar acknowledgment), the booking becomes final, legally binding, and cannot be withdrawn.
4. 2.4 Verbal approvals or telephone confirmations will not be considered valid unless supported by written consent.

3. Fare Policy

1. 3.1 All fares quoted by our team are subject to real-time availability and may change without advance notice.
2. 3.2 Quotes provided through phone or email do not constitute a confirmed booking until written confirmation has been issued.
3. 3.3 Unless otherwise specified in writing, fares cover only the base rental amount. Additional charges such as insurance, optional add-ons, tolls, fuel charges, or late return fees remain the customer’s responsibility.
4. 3.4 Once approved and charged, the fare is final, non-transferable, and non-negotiable.

4. Payment and Processing

1. 4.1 Payments must be completed using valid and verifiable payment methods authorized by the cardholder.
2. 4.2 We reserve the right to reject or cancel any booking that appears to involve fraudulent activity or unauthorized card usage.
3. 4.3 Customers are responsible for ensuring that their payment method is valid and has sufficient available funds at the time of transaction.
4. 4.4 Once payment has been processed based on written authorization, the transaction cannot be reversed, disputed, or refunded except where permitted under Section 5 (Refunds and Cancellations).

5. Refunds and Cancellations

1. 5.1 Refund eligibility is determined by the fare conditions outlined in the customer’s consent email before booking confirmation.
2. 5.2 For bookings designated as non-refundable, no refund, credit, or reimbursement will be provided under any circumstances.
3. 5.3 Cancellation requests are governed by the policies of the respective supplier or rental dealer and are not directly controlled by Budgetrider.
4. 5.4 We reserve the right to decline any refund request or booking modification when the applicable terms were clearly disclosed before payment.
5. 5.5 Refund processing timelines may vary depending on supplier approval and payment processor procedures.

6. Liability Disclaimer

1. 6.1 Budgetrider does not own, manage, or operate any vehicles. All rental services, including vehicle delivery, condition, and insurance coverage, are provided by third-party rental companies.
2. 6.2 We shall not be held responsible for:
   • Service delays, damages, or denials caused by the rental provider.
   • Accidents, vehicle malfunctions, or traffic violations occurring during the rental period.
   • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from the use of a rented vehicle.
3. 6.3 Customers are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the rental provider’s terms, conditions, and insurance coverage before collecting the vehicle.

7. Changes or Errors

1. 7.1 Budgetrider reserves the right to correct or update pricing, availability, or informational inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.
2. 7.2 If a pricing discrepancy occurs, we may either honor the correct fare or provide a revised quotation.
3. 7.3 We shall not be liable for typographical, technical, or system-related errors that result in inaccurate information or pricing.

8. Customer Responsibility

1. 8.1 Customers must provide complete and accurate personal, travel, and contact information.
2. 8.2 Submission of false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in cancellation without refund.
3. 8.3 Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all details contained within the consent email before approving a booking. Once approved, modifications or disputes will not be accepted.
4. 8.4 The individual authorizing the booking must be the cardholder or possess documented authorization from the cardholder.

9. Communication Consent

1. 9.1 By contacting or submitting a quote request through Budgetrider, you authorize us to communicate with you via phone, SMS, and email regarding booking assistance and service updates.
2. 9.2 Telephone calls may be recorded for quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and dispute resolution purposes.
3. 9.3 Customers may opt out of promotional communications by submitting a written request to our support team.

10. Dispute Resolution

1. 10.1 Any complaint, concern, or dispute must first be submitted to our support team at support@budgetrider.com.
2. 10.2 We may require up to 45 business days to review, investigate, and respond to the matter.
3. 10.3 Customers agree not to initiate chargebacks or publish complaints without first providing the company a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
4. 10.4 All disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States of America, and any legal proceedings shall take place in St. Johns County, FL.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be held responsible for service disruptions resulting from natural disasters, labor strikes, technical failures, supplier insolvency, pandemics, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

12. Indemnification

By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Budgetrider, its affiliates, employees, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, or losses arising from misuse of our services or violation of these Terms and Conditions.

13. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate service at our discretion, with or without prior notice, particularly in cases involving fraud, abuse, or inappropriate conduct toward our team members.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By contacting, communicating with, or confirming a reservation through Budgetrider, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
